Last week, our team at Enable had the privilege of sponsoring a table at the Over The Wall Camp Gala. This charity sits close to our hearts. One of our own, Duncan King serves as a trustee, and at Enable we’ve seen first-hand the commitment and care that drives the organisation, and Duncan’s passion for supporting such a great cause.
Over The Wall Camp exists for a simple but vital purpose: to give seriously ill children and their families the chance to experience joy, confidence, and belonging. Through residential camps and online programmes, they create spaces where children who are often defined by their medical conditions can instead be defined by laughter, friendship, and possibility. It’s a small shift with a big impact.
The Gala itself was an experience to savour. Held at the Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall, the evening carried a sense of history that’s hard to describe until you’re standing inside those walls. The setting added a certain weight to the cause; an atmosphere that reminded us why these moments of support and generosity matter.
For us, it was a chance for the team to get together and focus on something close to our hearts that isn’t competitive analysis and win strategy for a change! As our busy first year together comes to a close it’s important to stop and reflect on what we’ve achieved once in a while!
Looking ahead, 2026 will be a landmark year for Over The Wall Camp as they open their new home in Derby. It’s a step that will allow even more children and families to benefit from their work, and we’re proud to play a small part in that journey.
